The science behind the silence

Silent Pods were tested and analyzed following ISO16283-1:2014 and ISO717-1:2020 standards. The results indicate a Dw (decibel reduction rating) of 25-29, which means the pods can effectively reduce sound. As per ISO 23351, office pods or furniture ensembles must reduce at least 25 dB of sound to ensure speech privacy in a typical office environment. The class B booth reduces speech levels by 25-30 dB. For context, 30 dB is equivalent to a whisper, 60 dB is a normal conversation. A Boardroom pod with a 29 Dw rating would reduce an average office conversation down to a whisper, ensuring privacy within the pod.

All pods have a rolling base that lets you easily move them around the office, so Finance can run through the accounts in the morning and Marketing can collab on the other side of the office that afternoon. Adjustable position locks let you adjust the height to balance out uneven floors then hold the pod securely in place. And when your lease expires, Silent Pod will relocate your pods to your new office for you.
